Nano Banana is the codename for Google’s Gemini Flash 2.5 Image model, a state-of-the-art AI system designed for photo generation and editing. Its key strength is consistency—keeping faces, objects, and visual styles identical even after multiple edits. Nano Banana understands natural language prompts. Instead of technical commands, just write a sentence:

Nano Banana is not completely free, but every new user receives bonus credits to try the editor without cost. Once those credits are used, you can continue by choosing a monthly or yearly subscription for unlimited access, or purchase a one-time credit pack that fits your needs. The copyright of generated images belongs to you and can be used for personal and commercial purposes. However, please note that certain content may be legally restricted, so ensure your use complies with relevant laws and regulations.

Each image generation consumes 20 credits. You can purchase different credit packages as needed. Credits are permanently valid with no expiration date.

Currently we support single image generation, but you can use multiple images continuously for generation. We are developing batch generation functionality which will be released in future versions.

The main difference is ease and consistency. Nano Banana is designed for creators who need fast, reliable edits where the subject (face, object, or product) stays identical across different scenes.
